CEOc names steve cunanan as new president and ceo
Louisville, KY—Following an extensive search, the CEOc Board of Directors appoints Steve Cunanan as its new President and CEO, E. Joseph Steier, CEO of Signature HealthCARE and Board Chairman of CEOc, announced today. Cunanan is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive national experience, most recently serving as the American Red Cross of Kentucky Regional CEO. Prior to the Red Cross, Steve served as the Chief People Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Kindred Healthcare.
“Steve’s track record in business, understanding of healthcare and success in leading a large non-profit made him a standout candidate during our search process,” Steier said. “I want to thank Tammy York Day for the great foundation she built for CEOc as the inaugural CEO. Steve has a similar entrepreneurial mindset, and this is crucial to take the organization to the next level.”

Cunanan is the organization’s second CEO, replacing Tammy York Day as part of a planned leadership transition.

York Day will remain engaged as a Board Member and will consult during the transition.
